Qualifying Event: Thursday 24th June 2010
Home to the 2008 and 2009 European Open, it's the attention to detail that sets The London Golf Club apart from its competitors. Having only opened its doors in 1994 so not steeped in heritage, the Club is making its own history by gaining recognition as one of the superior golfing venues in the UK and Europe.
Conveniently located just off the M25 and M20, this 700 acre golf club is easily accessible from London and only 12 miles from Canary Wharf, making it the ideal retreat for golfing enthusiasts.
The Heritage Course - a Jack Nicklaus signature design - is a par 72 parkland which both The European Open and The London Seniors Masters have been played on. It is strictly reserved for members and their guests, and presents any golfer with a true challenge, with risky carries over water and sand.
The Financial Times Business Championship visited The London Club's Heritage Course for the 5th event of this year's series. The sun was shining and competitors enjoyed playing the championship course, which has previously hosted The European Open on the European Tour.
