Qualifying Event: Thursday 30th July 2009
St George's Hill remains today a golfing gem. Each hole, of which there are three loops of nine, is memorable and individual in character, lined with heather and elegant Scots pine - the fairways are undulating and follow the natural contours of the land.
The dining room affords a wonderful panoramic view over the opening and closing holes, and no doubt will provide every golfer with a memory to treasure of this truly magnificent course.
The penultimate event in the 2009 Financial Times Business Championship took place this week at the magnificent St George's Hill Golf Club in Surrey.
Teams experienced a mixture of sunshine and showers during their round but this did not seem to affect the scoring.
Instinet proved victorious with scores of 44 and 39 points
