Qualifying Event: Thursday 29th July 2010
St George's Hill remains today a golfing gem. Each hole, of which there are three loops of nine, is memorable and individual in character, lined with heather and elegant Scots pine - the fairways are undulating and follow the natural contours of the land.
The dining room affords a wonderful panoramic view over the opening and closing holes, and no doubt will provide every golfer with a memory to treasure of this truly magnificent course.
St George's Hill Golf Club was the venue for this week's Financial Times Business Championship, the penultimate event in the 2010 series.
The picturesque course was is fantastic condition and the greens were the fastest we have seen all year. However, the warm and sunny conditions helped with play and some excellent scores
