Portmarnock Golf Club is one of Ireland's top links golf courses and it regularly features in the Top 100 golf courses worldwide in well respected golfing magazines. Portmarnock is steeped in golfing history and it is arguably Dublin's most prestigious and sought after golf club. The club was officially founded in 1894 and has hosted numerous top amateur and professional events, most notably the Irish Open which it has hosted on more than 10 occasions most recently in 2004.
The FT Business Championship travelled to Dublin this week to the magnificent Portmarnock Golf Club, for the only qualifying event to be staged in Ireland.
