The Financial Times Business Championship offers the unique chance to entertain colleagues and clients or network with like-minded business professionals, whilst enjoying a competitive round of golf at the most prestigious courses in the UK.
As well as fantastic prizes from Inkerman for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams at each qualifying round, longest drive and nearest-the-pin prizes from Callaway and complimentary Callaway HX Hot Bite golf balls for all competitors, the winning team from each qualifier will travel to Portugal to take part in the expenses paid Grand Finals, hosted by Quinta do Lago's Laranjal Course. Finalists will stay at the luxury Monte da Quinta Suites Hotel.
Championship Ambassador and two time Ryder Cup star David Howell will be present at the Grand Finals, making it an unforgettable experience for the 12 lucky teams who qualify for this once in a lifetime trip.
Teams of four enter one or more of a series of twelve qualifying events. The format is pairs better ball stableford with each business team of four playing in two separate pairs, each pair with another business pair. At the end of play, the better ball scores are combined to give a total score for each business.
Handicap restrictions of 21 for gentlemen and 28 for ladies apply with a three-quarter handicap allowance.
